Andover Corporation offers a very extensive line of standard filter sets covering the spectral region from the ultraviolet to the near infrared. These sets are very diverse and consist of items such as Neutral Density Filters, Color Processing Filters, Narrowband Filters, Broadband Filters, Variable Band Filters, Long Wave and Short Wave Pass Filters. Filter sets are used in many varying applications such as building prototype optical systems, measuring spectral distribution from different sources, performing analytical measurements and as secondary calibration filters. They offer the convenience of having a selection of filters to choose from.

Each filter set is shipped with a Spectral Data Notebook containing an original spectral bandpass scan for each filter within the set. All narrowband filter scans are performed on a 1.26 meter spectrophotometer with F/66 optics while all other scans are performed on a Cary Model 500 spectrophotometer. Each spectrophotometer is calibrated daily with standards traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Custom spectral scans are available and will be quoted upon request, please discuss your requirements with one of our technical sales representatives. For convenience and safety, each filter set is shipped with an attractive storage case or cases.
