N Band Astronomy Filters

Andover Corporation’s N Band Filters are single substrate filters. They provide high transmission and OD3 blocking. The filters are durable and are typically used with a microbolometer IR detector that has a spectral response between 7500 and 14500nm. Ideally positioned for room temperature use and simultaneously for liquid nitrogen cooled microbolometers. The wavelength shift from room temperature to -196 degrees C is down approximately 1 percent. These filters perform optimally when your specification requires the isolation of narrow spectral regions.
